The album is here!
As some of you know, last year Timothy McAllister (the GOAT of classical saxophone) commissioned me to write an encore piece for him and Liz Ames (pianist) for his highly anticipated Project Encore Vol. 2 album, released by Neuma Records on August 15th, 2025.
The album is an incredible project filled with incredible composers I admire such as Wynton Marsalis and Jennifer Higdon, and I’m so honored and grateful to have contributed to such a special project.
The piece I wrote is entitled “Vicariously Through You” (track #5 on the album) and is an emotional encore-length work. I’m so proud of it and the reception it’s received thus far and fulfilled that it has already resonated with so many people (especially saxophonists who want to play it on their recitals)!
Project Encore Vol. 2 is available on all digital streaming services and from Bandcamp. Sheet music can be found/purchased on my digital sheet music store!
